How to get to DMF

By Public Transport

You can take the train to Utrecht Centraal (main train station of Utrecht), and from there you have multiple options to get to the venue. From Utrecht Central Station, take the train (3mins) to Station Utrecht Zuilen, and from there it is a 5min walk to DB’s.

Last trains from Station Zuilen in the evening leave around 23:00/24:00 depending on schedule, if you plan to stay longer in the area, you can also rent a OV bike (public transport bike, dutch OV card needed) or other rental bike from Utrecht Central station, and cycle from there to DB’s (12mins cycle).

You can rent bikes at various places such as Fietsenstalling Laag Catherijne.

By Cat Mobile uh.. Car

If you are planning to come to DMF by car, a few things are very important to know, there is payed parking between Monday-Saturday 06:00-11:00 and Sunday free. (to prevent the street getting stuffed with campervans and other reasons) So if you are a maker and your arriving before 11, be sure to not forget to register your car.

For visitors and makers coming by car, there is plenty of space in the Cartesius Neighbourhood, it is saturday so that means it can be quite busy with a kids centre near by, but drive around the streets and your probably find a spot somewhere.

SUPER SUPER SUPER IMPORTANT IF GOING TO DMF BY CAR!

In the weekend of Dutch Modular Fest, the A2 one of the biggest highways around Utrecht is doing maintenance and big chunks of the highway will be closed. This means a lot of re-routing, traffic jams and other car drama, be sure to check beforehand what the best route is to arrive and leave, so you don’t get stuck on the way here!

Arriving by paws (feet)

You can also walk from Utrecht Central Station to DMF! It’s a 40 min walk, trains from Utrecht Central station leave mostly later than trains from Utrecht Zuilen.
